Squishy Rib Mitts

Squishy Rib Mitts

A new pattern for sale on Ravelry!

These quick and easy Squishy Rib Mitts are comfy and cozy, excellent for keeping your hands warm and your fingers free in chilly weather. The slipped-stitch rib used in this pattern is often used to make a sturdy heel when making socks. Worked a little looser, it is great for other warm and cozy accessories, like these fingerless mitts. These short hand warmers work up quickly and take only one 50-gram skein of Aran-weight yarn to make.

  1. Thank you for reaching out to all of us who are homebound. The shelter in place is tending to make me feel very isolated. I appreciate your email.

    1. My pleasure! These are really strange and stressful times. I am so glad to be part of a community of people like you! Are you a knitter or stitcher of any kind? I am finding a lot of relief in knitting, myself. I am inspired to pick up, and maybe even finish, some of my many UFO’s (unfinished objects/projects) around the house! I’d love to hear what you are doing to remain sane. šŸ™‚
