Happy Earth Day!
Hug a tree! Plant a garden! Thank a worm! Today is a day to celebrate this amazing planet we call home.
It’s a nice rainy day today where I am, such great weather for Earth Day! It’s more than a drizzle but hardly a torrent – just your good ole fashioned spring rain. The kind that you swear makes all the trees bloom on contact and that brings out the sweet smells of the season. I can feel things coming alive around me, and it’s very exciting!
I didn’t have time to knit an Earth (but there is a really cool Knit the Planet pattern by Quince & Co. that I want to make), so I just decided to do some yarn writing to mark the occasion. The gorgeous yarn I used for the pic is from Spincycle. Needles are from Crystal Palace Bamboo, of course.
